I have not cut the tarball today because there was quite a bit of discussion about the busted-proxy nomination. I feel this is an important thing to be included in 1.8.1 so until we have resolved that I'm not going to cut 1.8.1. Hopefully we can resolve this tomorrow. Please weigh in on the thread about it.
