1.2.2 is a patch release. No need to build against it. Building against 1.2.x is just fine. Lieven and Ivan call the new NTLM auth stuff "a new feature" rather than "an authn bugfix". I prefer the latter, but hey... version numbers are cheap, so I'm not gonna fuss too hard about it. And of course, even if you build against 1.2.x, then you can just install the 1.3.x when it is ready. No rebuild needed :-) People should be able to test against serf trunk for the new fixes. It calls itself 2.x, but whatever: svn works against that numbering, too. We'll be cutting 1.3.x from trunk, then backing out some bits to make the 1.3.x branch.
