I reply with the answer from Mr. Phan Anh below since he has not replied to the

Please remember that the Vietnamese forum was closed because there was nobody
left to moderate it. So as soon as we open it again, be prepared to spend some
time approving genuine posts among spam (but I can't say for sure what level it
will reach).

Of course the forum should be opened ASAP. But we have to make sure that it
will not show poor quality of management if the same spam flood occurs.

Note that since the moderation of the first posts has been implemented, the
spam is now non existent in the EN forum. It just requires some additional time
to approve posts or disapprove and ban the user. So I'm not afraid anymore
about spam but manpower to moderate is needed to keep the queue as low as
possible (quickly approving posts is also needed to prevent the user from
thinking the forum is non responsive).

As for the 2 months you're talking about, the discussion about the forum has
been raised only 2 days ago.

I propose that you register the EN forum where all major decision are taken
about the forum. Give your username so that I give you access to the private
sections. Then we will need some help from imacat I think to make you an admin
of the VN forum and reopen it.
NB: there is a topic about reopening the VN forum, you can post there if you've
an idea of how many other users could help you moderating and/or helping
answering the questions in the forum.

1. Thanks Andrea for this discussion. Last couple of days, I was out
for holidays, so I haven't joined in this one untill now.

2. As Hagar mentioned about "perhaps" and "not enough", I don't agree
with this one.

Why?

The team of OO now has move to Libre Office, do you know what do they have?

A mailing list, and a forums for themselves.

What will happen when the users that need supports from Vietnamese in AOO?
Well, zero.

And this is really ridiculous.

Reopening the forums has to be done to:

a. Getting back the official channel for Vietnamese Users, to make
announcement, recruit the group for Vietnamese, join in the discussion
for the Vietnamese Localization.

Without the cooperation between Vietnamese group of User, from now,
when keeping the rubbish discipline, what would the future of
Vietnamese group become?

I love OO, and now is AOO, but the team for VN has left to Libre. And
now, I don't want this product to become a zombies in Vietnamese
Localization.

b. The Libre Office of Vietnamese team is doing great in Vietnamese,
and OO is now really a left baby with no mother with it.

c. The longer delaying the reopening Vietnamese Forums, and more than
that, the mailing list, the team for Vietnamese is really stuck
behind.

I know, using the impolite words is not a good choice.
But, look at this, after 2 months, all the reason which excused the
reopening VN forum is "not enough" people, the same to the mailing
list.

The read deal is, Vietnamese deserves a better improvement, both in
the forums and mailing list.
