Rob,

I had a quick look at the mediawiki homepage, and the things they have does
not exactly scare, especially if people can accept that there is a
learning/introduction period.

I think your idea of a maintenance page is good, it should also contain a
place where users can write ideas (relating to wiki maintenance).

I have learned what i JIRA ticket is, but that is about my level of
knowledge at the moment, meaning for that part I need help.
