I think it makes it less memorable and more ackward, and those are > disadvantages. Absolutely. "Correcting" people, especially end users, about the "correct" name of the program is time consuming, annoying (to both corrector and correctee), and counterproductive or at least non-productive. Some might say "then just don't correct them," which is fine, but as long as there is an "official" name that is different than the spoken name - there will be those who feel it is imparative to correct everyone who misspeaks (like GNU/Linux vs Linux - remember the "It's called Linux" / "It's called GNU/Linux" threads of a few months back?). -- - Chad Smith http://www.gimpshop.net/ Because everyone loves free software!
