I quite agree with that paragraph. In fact you've given the only argument that does impress me. :-)

I have probably not been paying close enough attention to the recurring debate on the name of the product, but I had not got the impression that what you said ("it's too trivial an issue to waste any resources on") was the main argument against changing the name -- indeed, the impression I've got from the pro-org faction is that having the org is an advantage, and that's what I was referring to when I said those arguments don't impress me.
