Is that what a Johm meant by a "show window" site?
- next site should contain remaining things - documentation how to
write extensions, how to change skin of OO.o, directory of ready
to go extensions, ... - read discuss@ ML, you'll see lot of

Try not to duplicate effort, or cover something that another project is doing (unless there's a good reason to). In this case, Ian Laurenson has begun a site with documentation on how to write extensions. It's a wiki, and it looks really nice:
http://ext.openoffice.org.nz/
If (1) spreadOOo becomes popular and (2) whoever runs it feels that this should be part of the site, then I would suggest talking to Ian Laurenson about it. If SpreadOOo is popular, and it gives him everything he needs, he might be willing to bring his work over.
In a similar way, if you want to include macros, then talk to Russ (from OOoMacros). You get the idea.
Don't take me wrong, I see a lot of value in putting all of those together. Reducing the number of URLs means that information is easier to find. But you can only accomplish that by getting buy-in from people already doing that work. And to get that, you have to make the change appealing to them.
Just something to keep in mind. :-)
Cheers, Daniel.
