Btw, I notice you didn't add "posting an email to the list" to the To-Do list before sending your post.

{how far do you think this kind of diplomacy will bring you ? :-) }

When I first saw the subject of this thread I thought "Boy, somebody wants to enroll in prioritizing the whole bunch of tasks waiting to be done here and since 2.0 is coming, this would be great!!".

When I saw how many responses there are, I thought "Wow, members are interested. That's good."

When I started reading the thread and tried to understand what is going on, I was dissappointed. Not what I hoped. :-(

And I was here long enough to remember the days when people came in asking how they can help, they were directed to the list of tasks. They picked one, reported from time to time, asked for help, and eventually we had something finished. Nobody forced them to take a task and nobody assigned them to any task...and you know that, Daniel.

I was also here long enough to see how this list was working and how the atmosphere was near new OOo releases... long gone moments.
Those were also the times when you could see on this list many longstanding members of the NLC projects for example who later when this list became too noisy they unsubscribed.

In my not-recorded-in-the-todo :-P previous post, I was expressing worries about the MP tasks that really need to be done and which are waiting. Who takes care of them if only new (and own) ideas about how to do things are proposed?

~Apologies for contributing to the noise.

PEACE,
Cristian
