Dear Herbert,

For changing just OOo's UI size the setting at

Yes, it really work. However, except the characters, the size of other
things, such as the page, is changed as well. That would not be expected by
the users.

I think the feature, multi-script-UI, is really beneficial for minority
languages in the world. I utilize Tibetan as an example to explain the
problem. Actually, there is not a real OS developed specially for Tibetan
yet. So most Tibetan native speakers have to use English or Chinese Windows
on their computers up to now. Usually, multilingual characters including
Tibetan, English or Chinese are mixed in the UI elements of OOo and other
applications, for example, a textbox containing path information may
includes multilingual characters.

A font merging all the required scripts characters is a shortcut solution
for one specific language. Unfortunately, there's few that kind of fonts
available for Tibetan at least so far. Some localization mechanism for
multi-script-UI would be a thorough way to solve the problem.

Thank you for your suggestion.

Best regards,
Yanmin
