I'm picking this thread back up...

If we're in agreement that we'd like to enable more meetups, I'd be more
than happy to start documenting the meetup guidelines (and a reminder of
the trademark guidelines that Max mentioned) to put on the community
section of the website.

And on that note... I'd love to host an Iceberg meetup in Atlanta on July
24th at the Snowflake office. We've had a number of community members
express interest on the Iceberg Slack, and I believe we'll have a solid
agenda of sessions! Following the format of the Seattle and Bay Area
events, we'll have a Call for Papers and have a "committee" of a few
community members select talks. I am finalizing sponsors for the event now
and will update the details as they come in. For your reference, here is

Please let me know if this aligns with our above discussions. If not, I'm
happy to make changes to comply!
