I would suggest zu just merge https://github.com/apache/directory-studio/pull/102 (which updates MINA to 2.1.10) and release that as 2.0. This should bring usable TLS 1.3 support (at least that works for me and my colleagues for over a year now without issues), so we do not look silly with a 2.0 release that does not support it in 2026.
I could also send a PR to support building for ARM on Linux and macOS (APP + DMG) if you like, concerns pom.xml, build.sh and createDMG.sh only. Then update MINA to the latest version in a patch release wherever it's ready.
