I'd like to think I accept how others feel and clearly someone gave this code base a name, but it does not fit in [commons] and does nothing to promote itself as what it is: a Java image library. In this case, the emotional value of the name to one (more?) person is unknown and I would argue irrelevant. Gary PS: What does it even mean? Googling it reveals pages of references to itself. > > Cheers > > On Mon, Dec 19, 2011 at 3:54 PM, Gary Gregory <ggreg...@apache.org> wrote: >> This is a VOTE to [ALL] to rename Commons Sanselan to Commons Image. >> >> The drive is to have a meaningful obvious name like [Lang], [IO], [Net], >> and so on. >> >> This VOTE is open until December 22, 10AM EST. >> >> Gary >> >> -- >> E-Mail: garydgreg...@gmail.com | ggreg...@apache.org >> JUnit in Action, 2nd Ed: http://bit.ly/ECvg0 >> Spring Batch in Action: http://bit.ly/bqpbCK >> Blog: http://garygregory.wordpress.com >> Home: http://garygregory.com/ >> Tweet! http://twitter.com/GaryGregory <http://twitter.com/GaryGregory> > > > > -- > http://www.grobmeier.de > https://www.timeandbill.de > > --------------------------------------------------------------------- > To unsubscribe, e-mail: dev-unsubscr...@commons.apache.org > For additional commands, e-mail: dev-h...@commons.apache.org > -- E-Mail: garydgreg...@gmail.com | ggreg...@apache.org JUnit in Action, 2nd Ed: http://bit.ly/ECvg0 Spring Batch in Action: http://bit.ly/bqpbCK Blog: http://garygregory.wordpress.com Home: http://garygregory.com/ Tweet! http://twitter.com/GaryGregory --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: dev-unsubscr...@commons.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: dev-h...@commons.apache.org
