Hi Apache Cloudberry (Incubating) Community, I wanted to reach out to gauge interest in incorporating Apache MADlib into the Apache Cloudberry (Incubating) project.
As you may be aware, Broadcom has taken Greenplum closed source, effectively leaving Apache MADlib without a developer or user community to support it. Given this shift, we are exploring whether there is developer or user interest in bringing Apache MADlib into the Apache Cloudberry (Incubating) ecosystem. If there is interest, we’d be happy to discuss how this could align with Cloudberry’s mission and explore potential synergies. Otherwise, we may need to seek assistance in moving the Apache MADlib project into the Apache Attic due to the lack of active contributors and adoption. Would love to hear your thoughts on this!
