xorg, xserver-xorg version 1:7.2-1 xserver-xorg-core version 2:1.2.0-6 That xserver-xorg-video-ati version 1:6.6.3-1 WORKS xserver-xorg-video-ati version 1:6.6.3-2 FAILS (freezes X in GL screensavers and the previously mentioned glxgears situation) libgl1-mesa-dri,glx are at the latest version in lenny Updating to xorg, xserver-xorg version 1:7.2.d3-1, and xserver-xorg-core version 2:1.3.0.0 which the latest versions compatible with the above ati driver, still works. Everything else is at the maximum version that doesn't conflict with xorg, xserver-xorg version 1:7.2.d3-1 xserver-xorg-core version 2:1.3.0.0 xserver-xorg-video-ati version 1:6.6.3-1 and is in lenny.
