preliminary work before `full-uptrade' ?
My goal is to *use* Debian, so I want stability.
I tried "apt-get dist-upgrade" in the past, and found it to be an
exercise in frustration. Even if it "worked", I typically ran into
problems afterwards.
Only a backup, fresh system drive, fresh install, and restore cycle
gives me the confidence I desire.
