Well, even if it is not possible to do a single source package, we should IMHO really be able to reduce the number of source packages in sarge to 0-1 for 2.2, 2 for 2.4 and 2 for 2.6. Of course, this means major work after we decided which kernel version should be released with, but I really think it's worth, because it makes it much easier for the security team.
