I'm a little confused. Much earlier in this thread it was stated that ifupdown2 was out of the running simply because it brings in python, even though some consider it a better alternative than ifupdown-ng. However, netplan.io also brings in python. Do I misunderstand which package would be used to implement Netplan as being discussed here? If we _are_ talking about netplan.io, then shouldn't we also bring ifupdown2 back into consideration? Confused...Marvin
