No, I don't know the reason, and neither do I care about it so much, but I am not going to break it either - I'll be a good tourist, accept the rules they've set, and follow what locals follow. I don't have to be a rebel. Just because you don't know the reasoning of the rules set by an authority doesn't mean you won't comply with them - these aren't so hard to comply with, really. I mean, you don't want to comply with the curfew, sure, book a hotel, do whatever. Nobody is stopping you. Because you requested to stay in the accommodation which has some rules set by the university, please just comply. Same for the swimming. There are some rules that locals follow, please respect it. To be fair, I didn't know about it earlier, I am just learning it with the ongoing thread but hey, is it too hard to follow it irrespective? - u
