First off - absolutely don't use the discount if the fare is negative. Fully agreed with Phil there. That said: When Holger and I looked at flights from Hamburg vua Amsterdam and Panama City, the German version of skyscanner and the german version of Air France / KLM's booking page gave the same price, but the US versions of each made the Global Meetings version slightly cheaper. Clearly YMMV. I will see if someone at SkyTeam can explain or fix this discrepancy. It would be interesting to see if other SkyTeam airlines besides Air France/KLM have the same issue. If you are going to be taking a flight that Delta operates or code-shares, check out their skyscanner and discounted prices too. Their booking process is a manual email to a human (as the site explains), but in addition to having another hope of a discount, if they're negative maybe they can explain why.
