I guess you used the first as the base for the translation? The longer master has time to diverge from our stable release branch the more important it is to translate the two separately (you can still manually copy over a lot, but there will be strings that differ between the two). For now it's fine, but you might want to take care of that in the future. One thing I noticed is that not only does the text go right to left (which is expected and makes me happy that we now have a way to test that darktable actually works with that!) but that the whole GUI is mirrored, even sliders going from right (low) to left (high). Is that how it's supposed to be? I have no experience whatsoever. Another thing that is changed are the sidebars, left and right are flipped. I am not entirely sure if that's a good idea as screenshots people might see on the Internet are harder to follow. Or are people using a Hebrew user interface used to that? If all that is fine we have to fix bauhaus widgets to honour that direction change, they are kept the usual way. Same as filmstrip which should probably run the other way round, too. And what about the order of the lighttable? It would be a medium PITA to change the code I guess, but if it has to be done ... I guess we need some cultural advice here. :-) > If it is acceptable I will be happy to commit it directly but I need > detailed instructions on how to do that since I am not a programer and have > limited git know how. If you have some time you should join us in IRC (#darktable on Freenode, there is a webchat [0], too, and we are available mostly during European day/evening) so we can tell you about Github pull requests. Or you can read it up yourself. > thanks > > Shlomi Tobias [0] https://webchat.freenode.net/?channels=%23darktable
