what is dissociation
dissociation may happen when something super important happens that one isn't able to understand and handle sufficiently. because it's super important, the parts of one that partly understand it or partly handle it, kind of separate from the conscious in an attempt to save one's life/family/etc at least a little. [sadly traffickers stimulate this intentionally to build programmed alters, which is so deceptive and wrong!] so if somebody is confusing you a lot quickly, you might have some understanding of it that isn't fully resolved, and if that's being used to control you then some understanding of that can make things even more confusing and then if they think you're figuring them out they might try to confuse you even more to prevent you from stopping them from controlling you! [especially if some internal part has learned to act for them ... :/] [but these internal parts are likely rooted [can be distantly] in attempts to help and protect us!]
