Yikes. Sorry to hear that Dennis. Speedy recovery! We launched Grenadine April 12th and bent on new North NPL Sport racing sails. Her A4 needs a fuel system overhaul this year, and her hull needs another paint job. New Interlux Brightside in October 2018 with annual waxing, but red oxides fast. So far the Wednesday night weather has been calm, cool, and soggy ☹️
Meanwhile on bigger bodies of water, I crewed the delivery of a Leopard 58 from Antigua to St. Thomas last October. Her topping lift parted when I was on solo midwatch, which made for some pucker factor rigging a spare halyard as a temporary replacement by myself without a tether. Then I bareboated a Lagoon 46 in St. Vincent and the Grenadines in December and the boat was a hot mess. I spent some two days of my vacation fixing shit. The islands were still recovering from Hurricane Beryl last July, especially Mayreau and Union Island, but are still beautiful and special. Next up, crewing the delivery of a Leopard 45 from Great Abaco, Bahamas to Solomons, MD. Wishing all listers a safe and fun sailing season.
