On my Yanmar 2GMF, I just replaced a small hose between between the heat
exchanger and engine. During the job, naturally antifreeze ran out into
the bilge.
Question: Can I replace the lost antifreeze with the engine not running
(now hauled for winter) or should I wait to run the engine while adding
new antifreeze? My concern is the possibility of an airlock if the
engine is not running, thus my lack of knowledge, and the question.
