Dennis, Thnaks. My Sherwood is not the newer model, so it has a flat plate in front from which to change the impeller unlike the newer model in the manual. It wasn't that hard; easy to get at, just behind the companionway stairs.RonWild CheriC&C 30-1STL

If memory serves me, you're looking for a Sherwood 9000K impeller. Amazon sells them for $35. It should be a Sherwood G908 pump. Depco catalog page 153. I've changed to the Oberdorfer N202M-908 pump which has front access to the impeller. Changing the impeller on the Sherwood is a pain in the butt. In my opinion, the Oberdorfer is more reliable and less subject to shaft seal leakage. -- Dennis C.Touche' 35-1 #83Mandeville, LA
