Dennis, Thnaks.  My Sherwood is not the newer model, so it has a flat plate in 
front from which to change the impeller unlike the newer model in the manual.  
It wasn't that hard; easy to get at, just behind the companionway

Yes, I've frequently mentioned DEPCO.  Pumpvendor.com is also good.
If memory serves me, you're looking for a Sherwood 9000K impeller.  Amazon 
sells them for $35.  It should be a Sherwood G908 pump.  Depco catalog page 153.
I've changed to the Oberdorfer N202M-908 pump which has front access to the 
impeller.  Changing the impeller on the Sherwood is a pain in the butt.  In my 
opinion, the Oberdorfer is more reliable and less subject to shaft seal leakage.
