Some great info and good suggestions Rich. That is a very clever way of bolting the conduit on the inside of the mast. Thank you. I am thinking I will try using blind rivets - at least mostly - to hold the conduit in place since that will be almost flush and avoid having a nut on the outside of the mast. However, I might use a few bolts following your method as you suggest to hold things in place first which will likely make drilling and riveting go smoother.
