Nathan,When I installed an additional conduit in my mast. I blocked the spar so the conduit would lay in the low part. Gravity is your friend. I then drilled a 3/16 hole thru the conduit and mast, used a hook to hold it in place drilled a second hole about an inch away. Installed pop rivet in that hole, and another in the first hole. Do this about every 4-5 ft. I used 1 in pvc pipe. I then used a long fish tape to feed a messenger line, which was used to pull all wires in at once. I used a soap solution to help lubricate the wires. I have one conduit that goes full length of mast and one that goes to just below spreaders. That is a very clever way of bolting the conduit on the inside of the mast. Thank you. I am thinking I will try using blind rivets - at least mostly - to hold the conduit in place since that will be almost flush and avoid having a nut on the outside of the mast. However, I might use a few bolts following your method as you suggest to hold things in place first which will likely make drilling and riveting go smoother.Nathan PostS/V Wisper1981 C&C 34 CBLynn, MA
