Hi Edd

Rod Stright (C&C 99 Equinox) had one on his former boat (Frers 33). I raced
with him one Wednesday evening when he had just returned from a delivery and
the Stack Pack was not yet replaced with his racing main. I was very surprised
at the performance from this sail. After the race it almost disappeared it
stowed so quickly.

I was very impressed with the sail

If I had a much larger budget for Persistence a Stack Pack main sail would be
near the top of my list for deliveries and cruising.

I think the biggest drawback would be switching from racing sails to cruising
sails. The stack pack is like lazy jacks with a line attached up the mast that
is not used when racing. Could be a pain but I suspect could also be tied down
near the shrouds when not using stack pack the way I do with lazy jacks.

Mike
