Fred, I forget the product name, but once upon a time Raymarine sold a software only chartplotter application that ran on Microsoft OS computers. Did that software ever have any control functions available for any Raymarine hardware or was that a stand alone product?

And no, currently the WiFi implementation of the WiFi on the MFDs cannot be used to serve out NMEA2k data via WiFi; for that, you’d want something like the Digital Yacht box: http://www.digitalyachtamerica.com/index.php/en/products/interfacing/nmea-to-wifi-adaptors/product/52-navlink-wireless-nmea2000-server — Fred Fred Street -- Minneapolis S/V Oceanis (1979 C&C Landfall 38) -- Bayfield, WI
