Advanced training would be worthwhile, but i'd probably pass out during the
course!

In the Safety at Sea seminar they made clear that if you have a heart
attack and no AED you are dead.  No one can do CPR long enough for a boat
or chopper to get to you.  Sobering stuff!

During the Bermuda race we had an MD on board, but he hadn't seen a patient
in 30 years.  Still it was comforting to have him there.  My internist was
good about writing prescriptions for Zofran, scopalamine etc.  I'll need to
re-stock.
