After a beautiful sail yesterday in Narragansett Bay by Fort Adams (site of
this year's NE Rendezvous - still room to sign up..), I noticed that a
piece of the white teflon (?) plastic ring around the rudder post had come
off. It is located under the helm seat hump and the 2 horizontal pegs that
stick out from the side of the top of the rudder post ride on the ring.
The ring body is about a half inch wide and about 1/8 inch thick. It is
secured by screws.

Any leads on: 1. where to get replacement, 2 how to replace and 3. whether
this can be done without dropping the rudder?

Thanks for any tips.
