        Not really. Even when cruising, I will run the engine for 20 minutes to 
pick up a mooring or depart one and give the system a good charge. I’ve also 
replaced all my lights with LEDs and usually try to draw as little as possible. 

        I have two Group 31s now from Sears 
(http://www.sears.com/diehard-platinum-marine-battery-group-size-31m-price/p-02850131000P?prdNo=1&blockNo=1&blockType=G1).
 Three year warranty, and, of course, this is now year four, and one is deader 
than an original series red-shirt crewman.
