Dan — 1000W doesn’t sound like much.  But it’s over 8 amps at 120 volts, which 
means the draw on your batteries at 12V will be over 80 amps (at full load)!  
That would drain your house bank really fast, no matter how big.  You don’t 
want to touch battery #5, as that’s your starting battery.
