What electronic device do you want to plot with a head of time?  I use my
laptop at the nav station and it sends the next waypoint and course to
steer to the NMEA 0183 multiplexer.  There really isn't any uploading, more
of an integration.  I also have a card reader/writer for the GPS but it is
too big of a pain to use.
