Tom - I have no idea on Exuma, but that's a little before my time up there.
I know Chanterelle is still around, which I'm pretty sure is a 35MKII. I
can put you in contact with the owner if you want to go that route. They're
a couple slips over from us in AIYC. Great boat, but she needs a lot of TLC
though. and he's not willing to do it.

Adjidaumo and Beau Geste are still around too - which are from that era if I
recall.

Thank you Pete. The C&C 35 MKII that I crewed on was the Exuma skippered by
Breck Lilyblad, This was way back in 1984 - 1990 when there numerous boats
in the 30 - 35 ft range. The Exuma was moored at Red Cliff marina then at
the AIYC. I'm not sure where this boat ended up, it may have been sold to
someone down in the Milwaukee WI area. I'd love to get my hands on it
and/or know what happen to it and whether or not it is still Sailing.
Anyone out there know where the Exuma is?

Ditto. Like Fred, I'm in the Bayfield area too. Based on comments, I'm
guessing you're familiar with the area. There are only a few 35's around
here, which one where you on? FYI - there's still a lot of good racing
going on with a pretty fun bunch of boats. Get a boat, bring the fam and
jump in when you can. Holler if you want to crew for a while. See links
below for more info.

Good luck with the search.

Richard,

Congrats on your new boat. I'm in the market for my first C&C. Growing up
my family owned a C&C 25, C&C 34, and I raced on a C&C 35 MK II.

I'm looking for a boat for Bayfield WI on Lake Superior for my young family,
I have two boys age 7 and 4. My search has narrowed to the 33 MKII,
perhaps you can express opinion on the merits of the 33 for a family boat.

I'm interested in fixed keel model, I assume the 33 you are selling has the
shoal draft. I see a listing for a 33 MKII in Kentucky with a shoal draft.

As understand it, the 33 MKII has issues with the mast step / keel sump.
Did you encounter this with your boat? If yes, what is involved in this
repair as for as cost and complexity?

I appreciate any insight that you might have.

Tom Lynch.
