I’m probably not going to be of much help there. I have the style of Edson pedestal that has the shift lever to port and the throttle control to starboard. They both work in the vertical plane in a box aft of the pedestal proper and the cabling runs in stainless steel tubing outside also. In my case, I am completely replacing the pedestal with a 402 series Edson pedestal.
