Right. I just put a 'T' on the sea cock, and if it comes to that I have
shut the sea cock, removed the bronze plug and put my hand over it, then
opened the sea cock. (Note: I really don't get fussy about water in
the bilge.) If the pressure feels like 'Old Faithful' I know the
problem is not in the sea cock, but somewhere else up the line.
