One thing about anchoring: it's a technique. It's not rocket surgery. Don't be intimidated by it. And don't be afraid to re-anchor if you're not happy with your holding or position. Some skippers are concerned about looking foolish if they have to make a second (or sixth) attempt. The experienced skipper isn't afraid to go around again. Andy C&C 40 Peregrine
