Well, we had a busy but fun weekend in Connecticut for my niece's wedding; John, you get the award for restaurants. We saw the S&P after we left the Mystic Seaport last Monday, and ended up having a great meal there. We also took the fast ferry out of New London to Block Island on Sunday; a perfect day with really nice weather, considering how tired we all were after a couple of busy days.
The only disappointment of the trip was on Monday afternoon; while in Mystic, I had hoped to stop at the Marine Consignment store to see if I could score some stainless 4" cowl vents (there, it's now C&C list-related…). But they're closed on Mondays. Grrrr…. Next time I'm out there, I'll try to set aside some time to do some sailing -- on a C&C, of course.
