Ray,

The T track that Joel recommends will work. It will fit on the front of
the mast by bolting it to a backing plate (or plates) that slide into the
mast track. The backing plates are easy to make from aluminum. Stainless
may require a fabricator. Just be sure they will fit into the slot, since
you probably don't have a gate on the front of the mast.

Subject: Stus-List C&C 33 1985 How to attach Heavy Duty Whisker Pole to mast

I purchased a Heavy duty Forespare whisker pole. I believe i have a place
for track on the front of the mast. However, the slot has plastic all the
way up the mast. Does anyone have an recommendations on attaching this
pole? Is there a way to put a track on the mast? If so how do you do it
and what track would i purchase? Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
