I have an "extra" hole in the bottom of the attachment hardware for my main boom at the mast. A couple of shackles attached to that has worked for me for many years. Not as slick as a mast track and associated hardware, but it does work. Take a look at what your goose neck attaches to on the mast. You may have a similar attachment point available. I purchased a ring thing to bolt on to the front of the mast, but I got used to the shackle solution and never saw the need to drill more holes in the mast. If you were going to use the pole for a spinnaker, as opposed to just poling out the genoa, then that would be a different story.
