Oh sorry I was stuck on interior finish.  I totally agree about the
exterior going grey.  On my exterior wood I was very pleased with the
results of Cetol's SDR natural teak.  The product is not made specifically
for marine use.  SDR stands for siding, deck, and (something...railing?).
I used it because it doesn't leave a glossy finish that needs maintained.
