I pulled my anchor and rode out of the locker today. The line was wet, and the thimble corroded through. The shackle looks like crap too. Bought new thimble and shackles. I'm waiting for the line to dry before I splice it.
I'm thinking of buying a milk crate and cutting it up and laying it in the bottom of the locker to keep it off the bottom of the locker. There is a drain, but there is obviously moisture in the locker. Thoughts?
