Joe, Congrats on the 35! On top of all the other upsides to owning a C&C, you will usually have the prettiest boat in the harbor. In circumstances like yours when you bought the boat, it is really worth your while hiring a professional captain to sail with you and be a mentor for a few days while you get used to the boat. It's not cheap, but had you done that, you might be sailing in the Caribbean right now. This is one of the ways I make my living, but I am completely booked, so I'm not angling for a job! But there are a lot of good guys around. Here's an article about this idea: http://www.yachtworld.com/boat-content/2012/02/yacht-and-delivery-captains-a-wealth-of-knowledge-and-experience/ > > Cheers > Andy C&C 40 peregrine > > > > > > > > > > _______________________________________________ > This List is provided by the C&C Photo Album > http://www.cncphotoalbum.com > CnC-List@cnc-list.com > -- Andrew Burton 61 W Narragansett Ave Newport, RI USA 02840 http://sites.google.com/site/andrewburtonyachtservices/ phone +401 965 5260
