Seller's market?  Perhaps.  After Katrina I didn't see a strong market. Many 
owners took the insurance money and ran or bought smaller boats. 

Typical example:  41 footer destroyed; replaced with J22. 

Maybe Ed Levert can share more insight from the New Orleans side of the lake.
