In addition to some snapshackle lanyards the Admiral put in my stocking, she
gave me a nice photo alphabet wall hanging that spelled the word "SAIL". The S
was an ornate piece of ironwork in a nautical environment, the A was the rig on
what appeared to be a Mega 30 (C&C design), the I was a lighthouse and the L
was a mast and boom. Very nice. I'll hang it near the framed vice commodore
flag from my yacht club in the office.
It was in the high 70's for Christmas Eve and Christmas morning. However, the
Admiral and I left for Colorado midday today. We are now in a motel in
northern Texas trapped by Winter Storm Euclid. Hopefully, the roads will be
passable and we can get to our condo tomorrow evening.
Happy Holidays to all!
