Sam,
 
What about the exhaust hose between the water muffler and the exhaust through 
hull? Dont you have water trapped in there? After my muffler, the exhaust hose 
goes up, then down and up again before the exhaust through hull, so there is 
always water in there.
 
I also circulate antifreeze mainly because I cant get water out of my exhaust 
hose.
