well, I'm thinking about safety really. I guess I could get by on what I have
it is the 'what if' that concerns me. Then, I do wonder if I need this
stuff... It is conveinient to have the chart plotter. The paper charts are
bit a issue under way and these waters are all VERY new to me.

I do not need them today. I was thinking to try and get some over the winter.
THEN, they got me with the $250 rebate! LOL I just can't stop looking at the
shiny things!

I'm all over the place...

I'll sleep on it for the next 10 days, thats when the rebate thing ends...

I guess if I'm still obsessed in 9 days I'll end up buying it compulsively!!!

Danny.

I think you should sail the boat for a while and then make the call.
Do you need radar today or in the next few years?

There's a boat here called 'Willful Simplicity' -- a Catalina 27.
They've been cruising full time as long as me. I've done more with my
boat than they have, but to paraphrase Porky Pig this isn't a 'Big
DiDi,DiDiDi um Boat' contest.
