Overboard?  Not for me to say.  I've been in terrible fog in NE on
powerboats.  Not fun.  You can stay at the dock when there is fog, but
when you are out and the fog rolls in there isn't any way to avoid it.
I'd consider AIS as an option but it won't show most pleasure boats.
