Bill On our 34, there is a stainless rod attaching the babystay track to the keel. It is much like your shrouds. It is located in the forward v berth area just forward of the bulkhead for the head. The upper end is attached to a bolt which is through the deck and track, the lower end is screwed through the floor into the forward edge of the keel. There is a turnbuckle for adjustment. Without this rod, the babystay tension would pull the track out of the deck.
Hope this helps John and Maryann Legacy III 1982 C&C 34 Noank, CT -----Original Message----- From: cnc-list-boun...@cnc-list.com [mailto:cnc-list-boun...@cnc-list.com] On Behalf Of Bill Striegel Sent: Saturday, August 04, 2012 10:14 AM To: cnc-list@cnc-list.com Subject: Re: Stus-List C&C 34: baby stay deck hardware I also cannot find the interior rod to secure the track below in the v berth.any pics?
