Hmm, Martin Preen has quite a few 3rdparty DBs (in clamconf output),
maybe those cause the load-time slowdown?

Yup, thats it. Without these ndb files and on this old HW
the reload time goes from approx 90 sec to approx 35 sec.
Obvoiusly I have to avoid some of them. It seems that scamnailer.ndb
and spear[l].ndb are the ones which hurts most.
With or without bytecode.cvd doesn't make a difference.
